We believe that everyone is at risk of vulnerability and society holds the key to delivering the epidemic of vulnerability. It is with this mindset that the Company commits to financing social interventions that enhance the livelihood of the vulnerable in society.
The Service To The Needy Project initiated in 2018 by the Company have since its launch in 2019, reached out to over 600 vulnerable people in various suburbs of Accra, Ghana with clothing, foodstuff, and skills development opportunities.
In 2019 and 2020, at least 78 of the beneficiaries of the Project (all being females) have been linked up to available skills development opportunities.
It was all fun in December 2021 when our team joined vulnerable Children at Rays of Hope Centre, Ayikuma and Motherly Love Foundation, an orphanage at Kwabenya to experience the Christmas season. The facilities are home to several street children, orphans and children from poor backgrounds. The Service To The Needy Project on this occasion provided over 300 articles of clothes, footwear, food and other items to over 200 vulnerable people.
This year, over 2000 articles of clothes and footwear, plus 200 plates of food were received in donations from parishioners of Queen of Peace Catholic Church-Madina, St. Charles Barromeo Catholic Church-Oyibi, some Doctors from Korle Bu Hospital and other individuals for onward presentation to the vulnerable in Madina.
Over 200 vulnerable people consisting largely of women and children received these gifts.
An additional 78 vulnerable women have been linked up to YES Ghana (an NGO) and Artisans Association of Ghana to access technical skills training for free.

Fundraising for an Upcoming Project
Quality education is one of the greatest equalizers in achieving economic empowerment and minimizing exposure to vices among young women and men. This notwithstanding, research has also shown that much fewer children who receive education in less endowed schools are able to successfully transition to tertiary institutions of learning. This challenge further leads to increased vulnerability for such young people and reduces their employability and ultimately their economic opportunities in the future.
In line with the company’s mission to provide vulnerable groups the opportunity to live decent lives, Winniwell Business Network is currently seeking funding to pilot the Step-up for Change Project. This project will provide students in less endowed schools the opportunity to connect with their peers in endowed schools as a way of improving their learning outcomes in line with the Education Sector Strategic Plan (2018-2030), Pre-Tertiary Education Act, 2020, the Sustainable Development Goals 4 and 8 and the AU Agenda 2063.
